Our goal is indeed 100% participation! We want to hear something about EVERY member of this family from eldest to youngest. Send your weddings, engagements, births, graduation, retirement, etc so we can be updated on what has been going on since the last reunion. Please submit articles, free of errors, in electronic format to FrankWootenFamily@gmail.com If your article is not submitted by the deadline, it will not appear in the printed edition of the book. Please submit no later than April 30, 2024.
If you said who is that or whose child is that at last year's reunion, it is a clear indication it is time for family photos.
Family pictures help to communicate connection as well as stories. What branch of the tree is this person associated with and how am I connected?
During the 50th reunion, we submitted photos to be displayed in a yearbook format. For our 60th reunion, we are asking you to submit family portraits. We have gained quite a few family members since the 50th reunion and the portrait will help us to connect the lineage.
The photos need to be sent to FrankWootenFamily@gmail.com by March 31, 2024 to create a Wooten Family Photo book.

Our first virtual family gathering will be October 20 at 7:30 pm. The Zoom link will be sent out closer to our gathering date.
This bingo is meant to be fun and create some engagement prior to seeing each other in June. Also, for those unable to attend you will notice there are many ways to be involved. Help us reach the goal of 100% Wooten family participation. Please see the bingo card and a guide on how to play attached. We also added a fun happiness infographic.
Tomorrow starts the 4-day popcorn fundraiser. You may have noticed the goal was $10,000. We mulled over this, but we said go big or go home. If each of you shares it with just one or two additional contacts, we could have a significant portion of the reunion offset. The desire is that all that want to attend can come. 100% participation is the goal. https://popup.doublegood.com/s/1e1tr5o9
April 12 - Do you or someone in your family enjoy playing video games? If so, please join the Frank Wooten and Etta Mae Murphy tribes at 7 pm on Friday to experience some healthy competition. We need you to send us an email with the following information: the gaming system you are using, the name of the game, and your username no later than April 10.

Meet and Greet will be open from 4 pm - 11 pm in the Bull Durham room. Because of food safety, the hotel can only allow food to be out for 90 minutes. To accommodate the earlier and later arrivals, the hotel has agreed to split the order to put half of the food out from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm and for the later arrivals from 8:00 pm -9:30 pm. Feel free to drop in at any time for fellowship.
Be sure to check in with Richelle at the registration table.

11:30 am Break for lunch and free time. The city has so much to offer. All types of food and activities are nearby. The hotel sent a list of places and activities (it is a lot). It is attached. If you want to stay around the hotel, the Ballroom will be open for fellowship until 2 pm. Lunch money will be provided for you to experience any of the many cuisines the city has to offer. One of the neat spaces is a container food court around the corner called the BoxYard. There are a variety of restaurants there.
6:00 pm. White Party! Gather for pictures. Just before we have dinner, we will move through taking a large group photo and other group photos. Please be on time and follow instructions for an organized and fun time of capturing how fine we are 60 reunions later!
6:35 pm Evening starts and dinner is served.
Did you remember the diamonds challenge to write a song to the tune of Rihanna's Diamonds for the reunion? Contact Martha to be added to the talent, skits or to advertise your business.
Did you pack your dancing shoes along with your white? Get ready to groove and two step with a mix of old school, new school and line dances.
