(The park is about 6 miles from the hotel and takes about 10 minutes)

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  We will meet in gymnasium #1, at Bohrer Park at 9:30 a.m. for our traditional Reunion Welcome and Opening, souvenir distribution, etc.  Later there will be opportunities for activities, games, putt-putt, swimming and water play so, please bring your swimwear and a towel to the park - (Spectator space is also available). The pool opens at 11:00 a.m.. We also have space outside at “PARK’ Pavilion.

Lunch will start at 12:00 noon (food truck will leave around 2 p.m.); and we are scheduled to leave the park at 3:30 p.m.  Free time is from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; the hotel has a swimming pool as well – don’t forget your swimwear!

Our Saturday evening banquet will begin at 6:00 p.m.

As always, we need your help to make our Saturday evening entertainment a success. As a part of our entertainment, we are asking you to present a short 1–3-minute skit (or charades) about how covid has affected you.  We have listed a few ideas that you can choose from to prepare your skit. Of course, you can come up with your own ideas.  Let your imagination go so that we will remember your presentation for years to come 😊

·        ZOOM has become our best friend

·        Working from home, are we really working?

·        Virtual School (parents became the teachers), Children turn screens off during class.

·        Free school meals.  Some went to get it and didn’t even have children

·        Virtual Church service, people forgetting to mute themselves.

·        Telehealth, they don’t tell me anything but still charge me

·        Weight Gain, Sweatpants became norm wear

·        Men started growing a beard

·        Women not getting their hair done, some men trying to cut their own hair

·        Hording toilet tissue, Hand sanitizer Food anything that they could find

·        Homemade mask

·        Hand sanitizer

·        Bleaching everything, but don’t drink it

·        Fist bumping

·        QR codes.  Who knew what it was and how to use it?

·        Going shopping at the grocery store

·        Amazon is our second best friend

·        Waiting in long lines to get tested or to get COVID shots

·        Letting the testers stick the swab so far up your nose

·        When going for a walk crossing to the other side of the street to avoid contamination

·       No more heavy traffic or traffic jams during COVID but nowhere to go

In addition to the covid skits, please be prepared to present your usual talents.  We know that we have a talented family, so dust off that poetry, tune-up that instrument and exercise those lungs.  If you have talent you would like to present, please let us know.  Also, you might want to sharpen your musical skills and get ready to play - NAME THAT TUNE!  Whatever we do, we are looking forward to having a great time!
